A New Dawn in Healthcare: The Healing Network by Joe Patton Academy Opens July/Aug 2026!

For over 17 years, the Joe Patton Academy Camp (JPAC), under the visionary leadership of the Special Needs Nework, has been a safe haven for children with autism and developmental disabilities in Los Angeles. We’ve transformed summers, fostered joy, and built a community of inclusion where every child thrives.

But this year, we are dreaming bigger.
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of The Healing Network Healthcare Initiative, set for July 27th, 2026!
This initiative is not just an expansion—it’s a revolutionary leap forward in how we care for our community.
🌟 What is The Healing Network?
The Healing Network is a groundbreaking, comprehensive healthcare initiative designed to bridge the gap in services for children with special needs and their families. This isn't just a clinic; it's a holistic center designed for:
  • Integrated Care: Combining behavioral health, developmental services, and family support under one roof.
  • Community-Led Healing: Building on our successful model of employing and training young adults on the spectrum, this initiative empowers those with lived experiences to support others.
  • Accessibility: In defiance of inequalities in healthcare access, this initiative provides vital, high-quality services to underserved communities in Los Angeles.

To celebrate this momentous addition, our annual summer promotion is going bigger than ever. As we gear up for the 2026 launch, we are calling on the entire community with us.

Leadership Legion is a business franchise that focused on teaching and training, and now building children with special needs, autism, and developmental disabilities how to be leaders and followers within inclusive communities. We offer a variety of programs and events designed to promote connection, learning, and celebration for individuals with disabilities and their families.


We are so thrilled to have Leadership Legion at Camp Joe Patton Academy (Camp JPAC) to train kids with children and youth with special needs, autism, and other other developmental disabilities to learn leadership skills, and how to be a leader! We are looking forward to have a new leadership training skills, along with new 3rd graders to come aboard, along with new kids in 4th, 5th, & 6th grade as well. We also looking forward to nurturing leadership skills in our youngest learners for kindergarten to 2nd grade, and even opening our band new healthcare.
